The Tri-Wing is a type of screw and screw head. It is sometimes called a triangular slotted screw. It is used as a tamper-resistant screw on various products, typically electronics.
The screws can not be loosened by any other common, freely available tool. The Y-type profile, also known as tri-point or trigram, is typically used to prevent access to the inside of equipment. All you need is a flat head screwdriver about the size of the triwing screwdriver you would need! so, all you do is stick the flat head on the screw at an angle, sort of lying on its side, and keep trying to turn it. At last, the screw will get stripped a bit.
