Round nuts are often used with lock washers for round nuts. When assembling, insert the inner tongue of the washer into the groove on the shaft, and insert the outer tongue of the washer into the groove of the round nut, and the nut is locked; Or use double nuts to prevent looseness. It is often used as axial fixation of rolling bearings. Thread specification is M10 × 1～M200 × 3 round nut.
Advantages and disadvantages of round nut fixing parts on shaft
Advantages: (1) it can bear large axial force and is convenient for disassembly and assembly; (2) It is used at a distance between parts and bearings, so long sleeves can be avoided, which is conducive to the fixation of parts;
